Leah Zapf Donald – Executive Director


Leah Zapf Donald is the Executive Director at A2I. Her personal and family experience with disability propelled her to pursue her passion for inclusion. She has worked in various roles in the Social Services field for 15 years and earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Upper Iowa University. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree from Mt. Mercy in Cedar Rapids.

When she’s not directing the day-to-day at A2I, Leah enjoys spending time with her wonderful family and talking about where to find the best pizza.

Kiersten Onanga, BSW – Independent Living Specialist


Kiersten graduated from Mount Mercy University with a degree in Social Work. She started working at A2I in May of 2016 providing services to those living with disabilities. Kiersten loves talking to people and hearing their stories.

Some of Kiersten’s favorite things are hanging out with her awesome family, going to zoos and eating pizza!

Talor Gray, MPH – Independent Living Specialist


Talor graduated from Drake University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and most recently graduated from the University of Iowa with a Master’s of Public Health in Community and Behavioral Health.  Talor is a strong advocate for people with disabilities and gets extra excited when planning art projects for the Expressive Art Groups.

Chanel “Nell” Prince, BS – Independent Living Specialist


Nell is the newest staff member at A2I.  Serving the northern counties, Nell runs the office in Cedar Rapids. Nell moved from Philadelphia area to Iowa in 2015 to enjoy a quieter life with her daughter and her two cats, Monroe and Trudy. She enjoys the serenity of being outdoors and hiking, biking or going for a swim.  Be sure to catch her new column “A Moment with Nell” in our quarterly newsletters for some uplifting inspiration!
