Part of independent living involves finding housing that meets our individual needs. This session will explore housing options and resources. Participants will learn:
- Strategies for finding and attaining housing
- Tips for making their home environment fit their needs
- Strategies for communicating with landlords and roommates
- Tips for preparing for an emergency
All workshops are free; there is no cost to attend. Workshops are intended for individuals who self-identify as having a disability, mental health condition, and/or chronic health condition.
