The purpose of this event is:
To report on the status of Medicaid Privatization in Iowa and to explore what can be done to improve the program.
The three Medicaid Privatization goals were:
- Improve quality and access
- Promote accountability for outcomes
- Create a more predictable and sustainable Medicaid budget.
- It was going to save money.
