Care Packages
Access 2 Independence is excited to offer personal hygiene care packages on a case-by-case basis to individuals with disabilities in Benton, Linn, Jones, Iowa, Johnson, Cedar, Washington, or Henry counties. These care packages have been made possible by a generous grant from the Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation and the CARES Act in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
Care packages may contain the following: rolls of toilet paper, bars of antibacterial soap, liquid hand soap, laundry detergent pods, liquid hand sanitizer, and disposable face masks.

Access 2 Independence has been diligently monitoring the spread of COVID-19 here in Iowa to keep our community, consumers, and staff informed. While COVID-19 has affected our office policies, it will not stop us from continuing to provide quality services to persons with disabilities to remain independent in the community. We will be compiling and updating a library of resources as it pertains to the disability community to help you get the information you need. If there’s any resources you come across that you think we should share, please email info@access2independence.org.
